Mukhtar BEKKALI

Managing Director Born in Almaty. Dr. Bekkali holds a bachelor degree in economics and marketing, with honors, from the Kazakh State Academy of Management (1995) and master degree in economics, with honors, from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (1997). In 2006 he received Ph.D. degree in Economics from Iowa State University, with specialization in international economics, industrial organization and finance. 1993 - 1995 – Deputy General Manager, Aidar LLP. 1995 -1996 – Assistant to the Chief Economist, Japanese Agency for International Cooperation and Development. 1997 - 1999 – Senior Tax Consultant, Tax Department, Arthur Andersen. 2001 - 2006 - Economist at the Center for Agricultural Research and Development, Ames, Iowa, USA. Since 2006 he worked as the head of the Investment Projects Department at TuranAlem Bank. In March 2007 he assumed the position of the Managing Director for development at Temirbank.
